omg Last Christmas was so good! When I read the other private books i was totally against Ariana, but now i actually feel sorry for her :( This book was soo good, I finished it all in one sitting! I Can't wait for Privilage!

i absolutely loved it! i was surprised by how sympathetic i was with ariana after i finished it. she wasn't as psychotic as she seemed before, she just wanted to be loved. i felt sorry for her; thomas didn't even properly break up with her, he just left her for reed without warning after all she had done for him. i can't wait for privilged!

The Private Series has always been my favorite series of books, and i've gotten SO MANY friends into them...but Last Christmas topped it all. It was absolutley amazing. It was so thrilling and exciting. It was so fascinating reading and figuring out who Ariana Osgood really was and how incredibly CRAZY she is!! She was so unstable and bipolar! I CANNOT WAIT until Privelege comes out...and Paradise Lost for that matter. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep writing these books...I'm addicted!

WOW! That was an awesome book! I started to like Ariana she was so sweet in the beginning! But when she killed....and..... AND..... she kinda started to wear off, she is definatly crazy now! But she just wanted to be with Thomas (not that that's an excuse but....) Speaking of Thomas OMG I miss him he was so..... I don't even know how to describe him! HAWT! I guess! Anyway! OMG I LOVEDDD Last Christmas. it so messed with my head. I can't believe she killed two people before Thomas. I love Thomas's character! and it's so sad hes not in the books anymore. But Ariana killing 2 people, and then Thomas totally threw me. Another thing that was bothering me is that if Thomas did that to Melissa and Ariana, would he have done it to Reed, or would she really have been different. I assume it would be different because he said he was going to tell her about Ariana and him. And I LOVED the ending. The fact that after all that happened, all that she did, she would really wonder if anyone would miss Reed, was absolutely ridiculous,but it was an AMAZING ending!

omg!!!!!!!!!! i loved it toooo death i thought that the book was a perfect addition to series my favortie part of the whole book was at the end when ariana says i wonder if anyone would notice if she just dissapeared. after that i just had a chuckle i thought it was a perfect ending to an even more perfect book. i also loved how you finally found out what happens to her parents. but i cant believe she just let that one kid die on the ice, and then she kills michelle and thomas just stands by her that made me sooooo mad!!!!!! i was like r u kidding me and then he found reed at the end and that made me really happy lol! kate your an inspiration to me you r amazing and i cant wait to read privivelged!!! gilmoregirl3232

Ok, so the book was supposed to come out yesterday. after school i begged my stepdad to take me to Waldenbooks just to get it. They didn't have it, so we called Borders from there. Guess what? They hadn't arrived yet! Ugh, not fair! The clerk on the phone was like, "It says it's in transit. That means it's on a truck, right now." I knew that - I wasn't stupid. I tried calling again today, but they still hadn't arrived. I am so disappointed. If I had gotten it yesterday, I would have been done with it by last night.

katelyn- yup thats sergei! she accuses him of knowing everything about her and thomas and she doesnt want anyone to find out so she murders him by drowning him in a ice cold lake. and no, mel is thomas's ex girlfriend from a totally different school. Easton High. hahaha and daniels (ariana's supposed boyfriend)sister was paige. the "noelle" of their junior year. basically the leader.

I personally think you should do a movie, once you're done writing all the Private novels. It would make a great one, and I know everyone would see it. I'm just so addicted to your books, I could read one in one day. Which I have done already. But I really hope the Private novels keep coming and coming:) Enjoying every moment of it!

************Kelsey*************chillax lol daniels ariana Boyfriend in last christmas, noelle became leader or more like a beta (2nd in command) her junior year because some other girl (cant remember her name)her grandmother was like the founder of Billings and even her last name was Billings. Noelle didnt even like standibng up to her. So ur not really missing much. Just read the 1st chapter thing on the main page when u first come to this website and it will tell about ariana killing thomas then it will go back in time to her junior year (before taylor and Kiran who i absolutaly ah-dore and miss)

i was reading the comments about reed being shot - she obviously doesn't die since theres a #9 (February 24th!) so im thinking either the bullet hit josh who jumped in front of her or she was shot but not killed. and i NEVER suspected anything about sabine EVER! i feel so stupid!

I don't think many of you are misunderstanding Thomas in this book. He didn't go out of his way to hurt Ariana in this book, he was lost just like she was. He got in too deep with her, and didn't realize it until it was too late. I think he was afraid to hurt her, thats why he acted the way he did, not because he was using her. Ariana brought all this upon herself, she was killing people for a guy she had only spent a couple days of alone time with. How would you react if you were Thomas? Yea he obviously did it in the wrong way, but I don't think his intentions make him a jerk, just the way he handled the situation.

You click that and there will be 2 videos waiting...you click the second one and it tells you how there just models and nothing else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know i wish she could give us something like a chapter of Paradise Lost but i dont think she can bc that will tell us if reed dies or not and i dont think she wonts to tell us that yet. but i still hope she does. i cant wait untull Febuaray. :-(

yah it comes out in feb. but idk who said it, but i dont think that making the books a TV show or movie would be good. they would get the charcters all wrong [ i have a specific picture of what josh looks like in my head and if they get him wrong, ill die].

thanks Hannah, after reading this i looked it up on Amazon.com and saw that it was coming out IN FEBUARY i almost died i called my 2 friends who read it and started screaming haahh. me and my friends have a private 'bookclub' i guess you could say, so one would go buy the book finish it and give it to the next so that means if your first you cant talk so i would call random friends and be like "so im reading this book..." and so far no luck in getting them to read them :[ but im trying :D SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!

I just finished reading Last Christmas and it was SO good! It was so interesting to see everything we've been reading about from Ariana's point of view. It was fascinating! I can't wait for the next book! I'm super excited and I'm dying to know what happens to Reed! ~Christine

I just recently finished Last Christmas, and I absolutely adored it. It was an excellent read, like all the other books in the Private series, and I enjoyed getting to understand Ariana. I know now, how to perceive her from Reed pov, and what was always brewing beneath her unreadable, clear blue eyes. I'm interested in finding out if she will ever overcome her hatred for Reed Brennan, and if she can overpower the grave turmoil, that seems to be a permanent resident twisted within her. I'm looking forward to grasping more of her character and what makes her work, and her life after Easton. When she is away from everything, and nothing is influencing her. She gets to start over, if only she can let go of the everything that happened, focus on herself, and why she did the things she did. All in all a wondrous job. You are the best! I love the Series, keep them coming. I can never get enough... =)

I was wondering if you were making a book following revelation, because I really want to know what happens next and know it can't end that way. I really think you should make movies from your books. everyfriend Iv told about the private series has went out and bought them and couldn't put them down. I think it reaches everyone in a way because of the trails she faces which we face everyday. so please consider it. I wish that Kate would let Paradise Lost Earlier than February though :( and I sooooooo want a sequel to Meghan Meades Guide to the Mcgowan boys It can just end that way Kate!!

This book is AMAZING! I'm like 20 pages from the end. But this totally gets you the insight on Ariana's break down. I don't necessarily feel sorry for her, YET. but you can tell she was never a totally together person mentally, especially after seeing her mom's history. And one more thing, WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE?!?!?!? :D <3

okay, i knew arianna was insane,but i had no idea she was out of her FLIPPIN MIND! i felt so bad for Thomas and how she went insane and was killing a bunch of people, he probably was to scared to end it. I thought it was kinda funny how Arianna thought Thomas's ex-girlfriend was insane for being so obssesive over Thomas when really she was the craziest person alive!! seriously how could she kill so many people for some guy??

I thought it was so ironic how Kate Brian put things like when Ariana asked how Thomas was(about his ankle) and he said that it feels like a bat hit him in the head and ankle. Ironic about the part with the bat, cuz that was what ARiana used! Do you guys think that Ariana confronted Thomas about their relationship senior year before the whole "Ariana murdering Thomas incident"?

I finally got Last Christmas!And I read it in 5 hours... I got in trouble at school for not paying attention in class because I was reading it.This book is by far the best in the series, Untouchable sadly is no longer my favorite, Last Christmas is! This book seriously made me love Ariana more! Is Paradise Lost going to be the last book? I hope not!! :( Keep the Private books coming Kate!

I LOVED how Kate tied it all together with how it had started in the first book! Like how in the first one when Reed looked into Ariana's eyes and she smiled and thought that there was something wrong because of the way Ariana was staring at her. And how Ariana was thinking right then that she was going to kill her! I think Isobel and Astrid would be perfect friends, they both had affairs with their teachers! I don't care what any of you guys say Ariana has and will always be my favorite Private character!

okay i have no idea how people can LIKE ariana?! She MURDERED 2 people for Thomas cuz she was in love with him? well obviously not enough if she killed him to save her future at billings and princeton(so people, stop saying she muredered those 2 people for love.) idc what the person did, nobody deserves to be killed(unless legally)! Ariana grew way obssesive and would of killed the entire Easton academy if thats what she had to do! And then poor Reed got all mixed up into that because Thomas loved her, and Ariana was thinking about killing her too! o.m.g. I can't believe it :o
